Full description

This 2-2.5 hour eco paddle tour begins in Wooton Park, where you'll check in at the building with large murals near the lakefront. Paddle through a stunning landscape of century-old cypress trees draped in Spanish moss and learn about the canal's rich history dating back to the 1800s.

Encounter a variety of Florida wildlife, from birds and reptiles to the occasional river otter. Whether in a single kayak, tandem kayak, or on a stand-up paddleboard, this tour offers a peaceful escape into nature's beauty. All necessary equipment is provided, including life vests and whistles. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle, and consider a change of clothes.

Age: All age groups are welcome.
Weight: Single kayaks can hold up to 300 lbs, tandem kayaks up to 450 lbs, and stand-up paddle boards up to 225 lbs.
Experience level: All levels are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.
Alcohol and Smoking: Alcohol and smoking are not permitted during the tour.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2 - 2.5 Hours
What’s included: Professional guide, paddle equipment (single or double kayak, or paddle board), safety gear (life vest, whistle).
Who will be present: A professional guide will accompany you throughout the experience. The number of participants may vary based on reservations.
Photo/ video: Participants are encouraged to take their own photos to capture the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Specific rules to follow: Participants need to follow safety instructions and guidelines provided by the guide, and comply with the non-smoking and alcohol-free policy.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The tour operates rain or shine.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
Parking: Parking is available at 210 E Ruby Street, inside Wooton Park.
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that can get wet (water shoes or sandals are ideal).
What to bring:
- A reusable water bottle for hydration.
- A change of clothes is recommended by some guests.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are available; however, there are no specific changing rooms.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
