• Age: All age groups are welcome.
• Physical limitations: Guests should be able to walk approximately 1.5 miles at a moderate pace, with standing for the majority of the approximately 3-hour tour. At least two resting stops totaling about 45 minutes are included.

• Children: This is a family-friendly tour. If a very young child will not be participating in the tastings, a ticket is not required — however, please note this at the time of reservation.
• Individuals with disabilities: The Savannah Taste Experience is wheelchair and stroller accessible, and the team will assist guests to optimize safety and enjoyment. Contact the operator directly for specific concerns.
• Dietary restrictions: can ONLY accommodate those with seafood or nut allergies, as well as pescatarians and vegetarians. They CANNOT accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan restrictions.
• Languages: Tours are offered in English only.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 3 hours. Tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour.
• What's included:
  • All food tastings — enough for lunch — across five unique foodie spots surrounding Savannah's historic squares
  • A map of all tasting locations and exclusive coupons to select stops are provided.
  • *Alcoholic beverages are not included but can be purchased separately at participating restaurants. Savannah allows open containers in the historic district.
• Who will be present: A knowledgeable tour guide will be present at all times, along with up to 14 total participants.
• Photo/video: Photos and videos are encouraged throughout the tour.
• Specific rules to follow: Shopping at tasting locations is not permitted during the tour; guests are encouraged to return after the tour ends. The tour operates on a tight schedule to ensure food is served at optimal freshness.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the tour will run. Dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of the tour. In rare cases of anticipated severe weather, guests will be contacted directly.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive on time at the meeting point. The tour begins at the Savannah Taste Marketplace; exact starting location details are provided at the time of purchase.
• Parking: Several public parking garages are located near the meeting point. Specific parking information is provided after ticket purchase.
• What to wear: Comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended.
• What to bring: Consider eating breakfast beforehand, as the tastings are designed to be equivalent to a lunch — not multiple meals. Cameras and phones are welcome.
• Restrooms: Bathrooms are available at selected tasting locations during the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• The tour does not end at the same location as the meeting point. Return directions and a map are provided at the start of the tour. The return trip can be done on foot, by taxi, or via trolley or CAT bus.
• Gratuity for the tour guide is not mandatory but is appreciated; the standard service industry gratuity is 15%.
• It is recommended to take this tour at the beginning of a Savannah visit to allow time to return to favorite tasting spots and use provided coupons.

To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
