What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: This class is approximately 2 hours long.
  • What’s included: All instruction, equipment and ingredients needed. No outside drinks are allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are not included in the ticket price.
  • Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (from 12 to 26 people).
  • Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Please note that classes will be hosted outdoors in the courtyard of the hotel. Accommodations will be made for inclement weather.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You can park at the experience location.
  • What to wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please dress in clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are restrooms at the experience location.

In this interactive and hands-on class, a professional chef will guide you through the process of making delicious sushi rolls from scratch, including preparing the ideal sushi rice, selecting fresh ingredients, and mastering the art of rolling. With three different roll options - California, Sweet Plantain, and Philadelphia - and the freedom to experiment with different ingredients and seaweed placements, this casual class is a feast for your senses and creativity.

All you need to bring is your curiosity and appetite, as this class is perfect for a family activity, friend outing, or even a romantic date night. You'll leave with newfound confidence in your sushi-making skills and a plethora of tips and tricks to recreate these delicious rolls at home.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience. Rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance is subject to a $20 per person rescheduling fee.
