Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All age groups are welcomed
  • Weight: The weight of each passenger is mandatory in order for the pilot to calculate the weight and balance form of the helicopter.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children 2 years old and up are full price as due to FAA regulations they need to sit in their own seat. Children under 2 years of age must sit in an adults lap at no charge. When booking please let us know you will have a lap child
  • Pets: This is not a pet friendly experience.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 30 minutes of flight time
  • Who will be present: Your experienced pilot and also, other guests may be joining. This aircraft can seat up to 6 people.
  • Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: Once inside the helicopter photography is allowed and encouraged.

 

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent. In the event your flight is canceled due to inclement weather, you will reschedule directly with the experience provider.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes in advance with your ID and boarding pass.
  • Parking: Parking at the hangar is limited. It is suggested to take the NJ Path train to Journal Square in Jersey City or the NJ Transit to Newark Penn Station, followed by and Uber or taxi ride to the hangar.
  • What to wear: Dress comfortably and appropriately for expected weather conditions. Closed-toe shoes and sunglasses are recommended.
  • What to bring: Only cameras, cell phones and sunglasses may be taken on the helicopter. All bags, hats and scarves may be left in a locker available to you at no charge.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms and lockers are located at the heliport.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked. You can postpone your flight up to 3 weeks before the flight without a medical certificate. If you have to postpone your flight less than 3 weeks before your flight, you must provide a justification (medical certificate). If you planned to fly with another passenger, the other passenger must make the flight at the date initially planned. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling more than 3 weeks in advance (without justification) means losing the value of your experience.
