Texas Creative Experiences

Art, Pottery and Craft Classes Across Texas

Looking for things to do in Texas that leave something to take home? Texas Creative Experiences gather hands-on art and craft classes in Houston, Dallas, Austin, Plano and more. Browse more Texas experience gifts or the full range of creative experience gifts to compare cities.

Art classes in Texas lean bold and messy: spin art rooms, glow in the dark painting, fluid pour canvases and BYOB splatter nights for two. Paint and sip sessions run at breweries, cider bars and studios, and Houston even runs a weekend morning painting class with mimosas. The Dallas creative experiences page groups the city's highlights.

Pottery, Candles and Scent

Pottery classes in Texas include wheel lessons, pottery and painting combos and romantic date nights in Houston and Dallas, plus a sip and sculpt workshop in Austin. Candle making runs in Dallas, Austin and at a Grapevine winery, and Dallas perfume workshops let you blend a signature scent. Photography basics and date night photo classes round things out, and new classes are added across the state through the year.

Giving a Texas Class as a Gift

Send an instant e-voucher by email or choose a printed gift box for the mail. The recipient books a date that suits them, which makes these easy birthday gifts and fun couples activities. They work for Christmas too.

Do I need any art experience?

No. Instructors walk newcomers through every step and give confident artists room to experiment, with canvases, clay, glazes and tools included.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Many Plano and Houston art sessions are BYOB for guests 21 and over. Check the listing before you go, since each studio sets its own rules.
