Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced thrower, axe throwing is easy to pick up and even more fun with friends. You'll learn the ropes from friendly coaches who will show you proper technique and help you hone your skills. The goal? Hit the target, score points, and, of course, out-throw your crew.

It’s all about finesse, not strength, so anyone can join in on the action. Plus, you’re free to grab a drink from the nearby brewery and enjoy it while you compete. It’s the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and just a little friendly competition! 

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: Ages 12 and up.
• Health limitations: Not suitable for pregnant women.
• Physical limitations: Participants should be comfortable standing and throwing an axe.
• Experience level: All experience levels are welcome.

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 1-hour open axe throwing session.
• What’s included: A shared axe-throwing lane, coaching on throwing techniques, and safety guidance.
• Who will be present: A coach will guide you throughout the session, providing tips and feedback. Other participants may join your session.
• Spectators: Spectators are allowed to watch but must stay in designated areas.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos during the session.
• Specific rules to follow: Closed-toe shoes are required. Follow safety instructions provided by the coach.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
• Arrival: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled session.
• Parking: Parking is available near the venue.
• What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, and comfortable clothing is recommended.
• What to bring:
  • Valid photo identification and the credit card used for booking.
  • Phones for taking photos.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are available, but no lockers or changing rooms are provided.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• You can bring food from nearby stalls and BYOB from Barquentine Brewing.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but if something comes up, please call the provider and they can work with you to reschedule your time.
