What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 90 minutes of flight time.

  • Private sightseeing flight in a Twin Commander over Canyon Lake, Lake LBJ, Lake Buchanan, Lake Travis, Pennybacker Bridge, and downtown Austin landmarks, plus a sunset Hill Country loop and Austin city lights at night.
  • Once in the air, you'll get the chance at the helm to fly the plane a few minutes at a time throughout the flight with guidance from a professional pilot
• Who will be present: A licensed pilot will operate the aircraft. Flight accommodates private groups (up to 5 passengers, depending on weight restrictions).
• Spectators: Not allowed; only ticketed passengers may board.
• Photo/ video: Guests may take personal photos and videos. Professional photo packages are available for purchase.
• Specific rules to follow: All passengers must comply with pilot safety instructions. Smoking is not permitted.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Flights are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions are unsafe.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure for check-in and safety briefing.
• Parking: Free parking available at San Marcos Regional Airport.
• What to wear: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.

• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available at the terminal prior to boarding; no restroom facilities on the aircraft.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Advance booking is recommended, as sunset flights and weekend slots often sell out quickly.
• All passengers must sign a waiver before the flight.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
