This Hoboken pottery class offers a casual, BYOB-friendly atmosphere where guests can shape clay, practice foundational wheel-throwing techniques, and enjoy the process of making something by hand. What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 90 minutes
• What’s included: Pottery wheel instruction, all tools and materials, and studio aprons
• Who will be present: You will have a pottery instructor with you at all times; other guests may also be joining the class
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation
• Photo/ video: Personal photos are encouraged
• Specific rules to follow: Participants must clean their wheel and work area thoroughly at the end of class

• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes in advance
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing that can be worn in a pottery studio setting

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• A $15 fee paid through an app in the studio is required if you would like to keep and take home your pottery piece
• Pottery pieces kept after class will be finished and glazed with your chosen color. Finished pieces are ready for pickup about 4 weeks after class. Pieces will be held for 1 month after completion before being donated
• Due to the kiln process, pieces may occasionally not make it through both firings intact, and no class refunds are provided for this

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
