After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All age groups are welcomed
  • Physical limitations: You will walk about 1 mile over the course of 3 hours, and suggest that you wear comfortable shoes. Heels are not suggested on the cobblestone streets.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children under 2 years old can join for free but need to be signed up at the time of the reservation.
  • Dietary restrictions: The tour can be modified for vegetarians. Please let your guide know at the start of the tour any dietary restrictions you may have. The North End tour is not recommended for anyone with gluten or dairy allergies.
  • Languages: This tour is provided in English.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 3-3.5 hours
  • What’s included: You’ll be served food and may purchase drinks if you’d like.
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times as well as up to 12 other tour participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
  • Photo/ video: Photos and videos allowed.
  • Gratuity: Not included, but appreciated.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
  • Parking: You can park your car in a paid parking area at Haymarket Center Garage. The tour ends on Hanover street.
  • What to wear: Good walking shoes.
  • What to bring:
    • Umbrella if it looks like it might rain
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: You will stop for bathroom breaks

  3. Little Italy Discovery: Venture into the historic North End, Boston's own Little Italy, and indulge in fresh homemade pizza or savor flavors from an authentic Italian import market, including freshly sliced Prosciutto and aged provolone cheese.
  4. Freedom Trail Stroll: Greet American legends like Paul Revere as your guide leads you through portions of the Freedom Trail, steeped in history.
  5. Cannoli Wars Finale: Conclude your adventure by delving into Boston's legendary Cannoli Wars while sampling one of the city's finest cannolis.
  6. Secret Dish Surprise: Throughout the tour, anticipate the delightful surprise of our Secret Dish, a culinary gem exclusive to our experience.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
