Nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains, a mere 20 miles north of Azusa, California, awaits an epic adventure: the Bridge to Nowhere Bungee Jump. But this isn't your run-of-the-mill thrill; it's an experience that begins with a captivating 5-mile hike through the enchanting Angeles National Forest.
The story behind the Bridge to Nowhere adds a layer of history to the thrill. Built in 1936, it once connected to a road that was swept away during California's fourth-largest flood in 1938. Left in its wake, a scenic hiking trail filled with river crossings and breathtaking views.
After a brief orientation highlighting backcountry rules, you'll follow your guide to the iconic bridge. And then, the heart-pounding moment arrives as you prepare to take the leap from the Bridge to Nowhere itself.
A range of jump packages are offered to cater to your daring spirit:

  • 1 Jump Package: Take the plunge with a full-body harness and choose between the Superman Front Dive or Backwards Happy Starfish (classic jumps).
  • 2 Jump Package: Enjoy both of the classic jumps, exhilarating Superman Front Dive and the gravity-defying Backwards Happy Starfish, complete with a commemorative T-shirt.
  • 3 Jump Package: Experience 2 classic jumps and 1 advanced jump (swan dive, backward plunge, backward lumberjack, forward lumberjack, elevator drop or ankle harness jump), plus take home a souvenir T-shirt.
  • 5 Jump Package: Buy 4 jumps and get the 5th one for free! Explore our repertoire of 8 different jump styles to keep the adrenaline flowing. First 4 jumps will be any of of the following advanced jumps: front swan dive, backward plunge, backward lumberjack, forward lumber jack and elevator drop. The 5th jump will be with an ankle harness.
    But there's more: for those craving an even bigger rush, scoring at least an 8 out of 10 on both the Superman Front Dive and Backwards Happy Starfish opens the door to advanced jumps. Think front or back flips, elevator drops, and lumberjacks. It's not just an adventure; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey you'll remember forever.

After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Must be at least 12 years of age.
  • Weight: Must weigh at least 90 pounds
  • Physical limitations: Please keep in mind that the hike to the Bridge to Nowhere is a rocky, rugged 10 mile (round trip).
  • The hike is mostly over a rocky, rugged dry river bed, and we cross the San Gabriel River 6 times. Be prepared to get wet. There is approximately 900 feet elevation gain between the East Fork Parking Lot and the Bridge to Nowhere. This hike is classified as a moderate hike in many Southern California backpacking guides. Hikers of all shapes, sizes and ages make it to the bridge every weekend. You DO NOT need to be an Olympic athlete but be aware it is 2 hours of brisk walking in each direction.
    Who can you accommodate for?
  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
  • Pets: This experience does not allow pets.
    What to expect on the day of the experience?
  • Duration: This is an full day adventure typically starting at 7:00am. You will be escorted back to your car be 5:00pm.
  • What’s included:
  • A guided, beautiful 5-mile hike to the bridge (and back)
  • Afternoon of bungee jumping
  • Participants must hike with a guide at all times.
  • No food will be provided for you; therefore you are required to bring whatever food/snacks you would like for the entire day.
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining.
  • Spectators: Friends and family are always welcome to join. All spectators need to be registered on the experience providers website. There is a non-refundable charge of $10 per spectator. This allows spectators to use the available drinking water system, sun canopy, bathrooms and other facilities at the bridge. Remind your friends that they may have the opportunity to add on as a jumper when at the bridge if the day hasn’t sold out. There is a $20.00 late registration + package price. $10.00 spectator fee will be applied toward any bungee package. Cash only. Group discounts do not apply. No refunds will be issued for spectators.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
    How to prepare?
  • Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent. Feel free to reach out to the Experience provider if you have any inquiries regarding weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
  • Parking: There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.
  • What to wear: Dress in layers, comfort is the key while at the bridge, if it is cold you’ll want to be warm, if it is wet you’ll want to be dry, if it is hot you’ll want to be cool. Bring all the clothes you think you will need to accomplish this. Jeans and sandals are highly discouraged on the hike. Everyone will be crossing the San Gabriel River and getting their feet wet, we recommend wearing shorts and running shoes or your favorite hiking shoes. Also bring dry clothes to wear once we arrive at the bridge. This will ensure that you and your feet enjoy the whole experience.
  • What to bring: Remember you will be in the wilderness most of the day, and need to supply your own food and water. Cash gratuity for your guide is also appreciated.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 15 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within 90 days of the original date you were scheduled to jump. Jump packages are fully transferable to another person should you find your schedule does not accommodate rescheduling. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
