During this interactive workshop, you'll not only create your original piece but also discover the art of working with spray paint and stencil application. Worried about your artistic skills? Fear not! Our workshop is curated by Native 312 artists and staff who will be there to guide and inspire you at every turn.

At the end of this creative adventure, you'll proudly take your canvas home, a tangible reminder of your artistic triumph in the heart of Chicago's street art culture. And here's the icing on the cake: you're welcome to bring your favorite beverages to sip on while you paint, making it a BYOB-friendly and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All ages are welcome with a minimum age recommendation of 10 years old.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Children are welcome to join the workshop, although it’s recommended that they be at least 10 years old.
• Pets: Sorry your pets must stay at home. 
• Individuals with disabilities: The studio is wheelchair accessible and service animals are allowed. If you plan to bring your service animal please make a note at the time of booking. 
• Languages: Spanish scripts of the workshop are available upon request.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 1.5 Hours
• What’s included: 
  • Curated workshop by a professional artist
  • Canvas and all supplies
  • Gloves, apron, and respirator if needed
• Who will be present: Your instructor and up to 15 total participants.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
• Specific rules to follow: Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid government issued ID to drink alcohol. No bottles of liquor. Only beer, wine, or pre-mixed cocktails in a can are allowed. No vaping or smoking of any kind. The experience provider reserves the right to turn participants away for public intoxication and rude behavior.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This experience takes place indoors and will run in all weather, with the exception of a weather emergency and dangerous road conditions. Please contact your experience provider directly if you have any questions regarding weather cancellations. 
• Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your workshop. Workshops start promptly at the scheduled time. If you arrive late the instructor will try to catch you up, but the class will not be extended.
• Parking: Paid metered street parking available.
• What to wear: Clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting paint on. 
• What to bring:
  • Your choice of beer, wine, or pre-mixed cocktails in a can to enjoy if you are at least 21 years old
  • A valid government issued ID

   

• Gratuity: Gratuity for your instructor is greatly appreciated. The suggested amount per person is $5. 
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available onsite.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
