🏺 Build a custom mug and bowl set entirely by hand using pinching, coiling, and slab techniques

🎨 Design both pieces to your own taste with guided instruction from the studio's pottery team

✨ Basic glazing is included for both finished pieces, ready to take home at the end of class

🍺 BYOB welcome for 21+ throughout for a relaxed and creative session in Pilsen

Pottery doesn't have to start on a wheel, and this hand building class makes that case convincingly. Guests work with their hands to build a mug and bowl set from scratch at a creative studio in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood, using techniques that include pinching, coiling, and slab construction, all guided step by step by the studio's pottery team. It's completely accessible to first-timers and satisfying enough for anyone who's tried pottery before and wants to go deeper into the hand building side of the craft.

The result is a pair of functional, one-of-a-kind pieces shaped entirely by the maker's own hands, with basic glazing included for both. BYOB is welcome from start to finish, and the whole session has the feel of a creative hangout in one of Chicago's most artistically charged neighborhoods.
