In this pasta-making class, you'll learn how to create the perfect pasta dough and turn it into beautiful Fettuccine & Pappardelle noodles, with the option to add dried herbs and spices for a unique twist on the classic dish.
While the dough is resting, your chef instructor will demonstrate how to make an easy and flavorful Cherry Tomato Sauce with class participation. You'll learn the old-fashioned way of making pasta using rolling pins and pasta cutting wheels for your Fettuccine, and hand-cutting the dough for your Pappardelle. Be prepared for an arm workout!
The class takes place at the warehouse of Farm to People, an online farmer’s market that delivers fresh, seasonal, and locally-sourced produce, sustainable meat and fish, and other grocery staples to homes across NYC. This means you'll be cooking surrounded by the best quality ingredients.
No prior experience is required, as all the equipment and ingredients are provided. The class is designed to be fun and instructive for everyone, from cooking enthusiasts who want to participate in every step to first-timers who prefer to observe or assist with taste testing.
To ensure everyone's safety, guests are required to arrive 15 minutes early and wear masks, especially if they're part of a large group. Guests from the same booking party will be seated and work together throughout the class while maintaining social distance from other booking parties. Drinks will be available for purchase at the venue, but outside drinks are not allowed and are not included in the ticket price.
