Fresh pasta tastes even better when made from scratch. In this hands-on cooking class, participants will learn how to prepare homemade pasta dough using traditional techniques, with the option to incorporate dried herbs and spices for extra flavor.

While the dough rests, the class will also cover how to make a fresh tomato sauce from scratch using quality ingredients and simple cooking methods. Guests will practice classic pasta-making techniques in a fun and interactive setting inside Farm to People’s warehouse in NYC, surrounded by fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • What’s included: All instruction, equipment and ingredients needed.
  • Who will be present: You will have a master chef teaching you, as well as additional class participants. Minimum 8 and maximum 26 participants. Please note the class can be canceled if the minimum participant requirement is not met.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
  • Photo/ video: You are welcome to take your own photos and videos during the class.

  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You can park at the experience location.
  • What to wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please dress in clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
  • What to bring: Government issued photo ID if you'd like to purchase alcohol at the onsite bar. Outside drinks are not allowed.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are restrooms at the experience location.
