As you arrive, prepare to immerse yourself in the colorful chaos of graffiti history. The class begins within the museum's walls, where you'll embark on a chronological journey that starts with rare pieces from the 1970s, unveiling the humble origins of this expressive art form. Journey through the decades, exploring how graffiti has evolved across cities worldwide. From the streets to the galleries, you'll gain insights into the art's transformation and impact.

But that's not all – your experience goes beyond the walls. After your artistic initiation, gear up for an authentic graffiti adventure. Our instructor will lead the way to Wynwood's dynamic neighborhood, where blank walls beckon you to leave your creative mark. Don't worry about getting messy – comfortable attire is encouraged. Your instructor will walk you through the basics, from can handling to spray techniques, ensuring you're well-equipped to create your own graffiti masterpiece.

• Age: Ages 13+

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: This graffiti class is for participants 13 years of age and older. For children under 13 years old, there is a Kids’ Graffiti Drawing Class available. 
• Pets: Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals as defined by Fla. Stat. §413.08(1)(d).
• Individuals with disabilities: All interested individuals are welcome. The Museum of Graffiti is wheelchair accessible.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 60 Minutes
• What’s included: This class includes the art lesson and all supplies. It also includes admission to the Museum of Graffiti after the class is concluded.
• Who will be present: The instructor and other class members, up to 8 participants. 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must be signed up for the class. 
• Photo/ video: Personal photography is allowed.
• Specific rules to follow: No weapons of any kind, illegal substance or paraphernalia, outside food/drinks, large umbrellas, large backpacks. Although we are showing the work of graffiti, graffiti materials of any sort are not permitted; no markers, spray paint, inks etc. We reserve the right to deny entry for items not listed here that will impede the enjoyment or the safety for you and other attendees.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This class is weather dependent as it takes place outside. Once booked, if you have any questions regarding weather, please contact the Museum of Graffiti directly. 
• Arrival: It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the class start time.
• Parking: There is a public parking garage located at 321 NW 26th Street, Miami, Florida 33127.
• What to wear: Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty!
• What to bring:
  • Bottle of water
  • Change of clothing in case yours get too dirty during the lesson.

   

• Restrooms rooms: Restrooms are available at the Museum of Graffiti.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.
