Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 8+
  • Weight: Participants less than 230 pounds will fly in a Light Sport Airplane and participants more than 230 pounds will fly in a Cessna 172.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Participant must be at least 8 years old, and anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the airport to sign a waiver on their behalf.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Not wheelchair accessible.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours total with 15 minutes of instruction time and 45 minutes of flight time.
  • What’s included: Flight instruction, safety briefing and the opportunity to learn the basics of flying while taking control of the plane!
  • Who will be present: You will have an instructor with you at all times. The aircraft seats only you and the instructor.
  • Spectators: Spectators can join at the airport and watch the take-off and landing. Only the student can fly in the plane.
  • Photo/ video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent. In the event your flight is canceled due to inclement weather, you will reschedule directly with the experience provider.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 20 minutes in advance.
  • Parking: Free parking at the experience location.
  • What to wear: Dress comfortably and appropriately for expected weather conditions. Closed-toe shoes and sunglasses are recommended.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are located inside the airport.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 15 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
