Welcome to the Jacksonville Historic True Crime Tour, where we invite you to delve into the dark and mysterious history of Jacksonville, FL. This thrilling walking tour will take you through several eras in time, as we explore the city's most intriguing stories of murder and true crime.

Discover why Jacksonville has earned its notorious nickname, "The Murder Capital," as we share chilling tales of riots, arson, smuggling, murder, and even encounters with serial killers. From historical incidents dating back to 1897 to more recent crimes in 2018, you're in for a captivating journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Please be advised that this tour is not for the faint of heart. The historical true crime stories we'll recount include graphic details of assault, murder, rape, and other gruesome elements that some may find offensive.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Must be 13 years old or older. This tour includes discussion of assault, murder, rape, along with other gruesome details that some may find offensive.
  • Physical limitations: Participants need to be able to walk 1 mile

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: This is not an experience for children under the age of 13.
  • Pets: This experience is not pet friendly
  • Individuals with disabilities: This tour is wheelchair accessible

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • What’s included:
    • 2 hour guided tour
    • Food and drink are NOT included
    • We do not enter any ships or buildings
  • Who will be present: Your party size can be as small as 1 person, our tours require a minimum of 4 paid guests to run and can have up to 16 participants per tour. You will have a guide with you at all times.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Final weather decisions are made 2 hours before the event. The tour will run in light rain. In the case of a downpour we will give you the option to run in the rain or cancel. In heavy rain we will contact you 2 hours before the event to see what you would prefer. If you cancel, you will have the option to reschedule for a future date.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive early enough to give yourself plenty of time to find parking
  • Parking:
    • Street parking is a great option. The metered parking is free after 6pm and on Sundays. There is also a nearby parking garage at: 2W E Monroe St, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
    • This tour is downtown so please be sure to check to see if there are other events going on at the same time as your reservation.
    • Our tours start promptly at the designated start time and we reserve the right to scalp your tickets if you don’t arrive on time.
  • What to wear: Good walking shoes
  • What to bring: A water bottle
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No stops will be made on this tour, please use a facility before arriving.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.
