Embark on your journey to becoming a pilot with our introductory flight training package. This program utilizes the R22 helicopter, a favorite among flight training schools due to its affordability and effectiveness for beginners. This comprehensive session includes 30 minutes of classroom instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor, where you'll learn the basics and safety procedures. Following the ground school, you'll take to the skies with either 30 or 60 minutes of dual flight time. This hands-on experience allows you to log official flight hours towards your private pilot's license under the guidance of an experienced instructor, making it an ideal start for aspiring aviators.

• Weight: Participants must be within the weight limit for the R22 helicopter.
• Health limitations: Must be in good health and able to handle the physical demands of flight training.
• Experience level: Suitable for beginners; no prior flying experience is required.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: The experience lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, including both classroom instruction and actual flight time.
• What’s included: 30 minutes of classroom instruction and 30 to 60 minutes of dual flight time with a certified flight instructor.
• Who will be present: A certified flight instructor will conduct both the classroom and flight portions of the experience.
• Photo/video: Feel free to bring cameras to capture your pilot training experience; however, filming during flight requires securing the device.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled in the event of poor weather.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled time to complete any necessary paperwork and receive a pre-flight briefing.
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions and closed shoes are recommended.
• What to bring: Please bring a government-issued ID and your confirmation details. A notebook for classroom notes might be helpful.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
