The Intro Flight begins with a ground school session, held right at the helicopter, where you'll learn the ins and outs of helicopter flight. From understanding each control and reading gauges to conducting pre-flight inspections for safety, you'll gain the knowledge needed to take control. For Robinson helicopters, you'll also receive the SFAR 73 Endorsement, granting you the authority to fly the helicopter during your flight.

Once the ground instruction is complete, you'll soar through the skies. With the guidance of your instructor, you'll have the opportunity to take the controls and experience the thrill of piloting a helicopter. From Hawthorne Airport to the stunning coastline, you'll encounter various flight conditions, including straight and level flight, climbs, turns, descents, and the unforgettable sensation of hovering.

Designed by experienced professional flight instructors, the Intro Flight offers a comprehensive introduction to helicopter piloting for beginners. By combining ground school and flight time, you'll gain a basic understanding of the art of flying.

There is no obligation to continue lessons after the Intro Flight; it's specifically designed to provide insights into helicopters and the excitement of flying. However, should you choose to pursue a Private Pilot Rotorcraft license, the flight time you accumulate during the Intro Flight will count towards your licensing requirements.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
