Weight: Max weight of 300lbs per passenger and max combined weight of 500lbs. (Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price. Health limitations: It's recommended that pregnant women check with the healthcare provider if flying is allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 1-2 hours with 15-60 minutes of flight time depending on the option selected
What’s included: A mini simulation course with a hands-on helicopter flight training (in an R44 Helicopter)
Who will be present: Your FAA Certified Flight Instructor, the student and party of 2 or 3 participants.
Spectators: You may bring friends and family to watch you take off and land.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos
Specific rules to follow: Due to the nature of this activity and the safety of all staff and guests, the experience provider reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who show any signs or indications of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent, customers will not be held liable for adverse weather, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), or unforeseen aircraft maintenance. Your tour will be rebooked or refunded at no additional charge.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
Parking: Free parking available
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
What to bring: Please bring a valid ID
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available. Customers can bring their purse into the helicopter (no lockers available).

- Gain understanding of different controls, their purpose, and the aircraft format post-simulation.
Live Flight Experience:
- Transition from the simulator to the aircraft, experiencing fundamental helicopter flight lessons.
- Soar 700-1,000 feet above the Port of Long Beach and Downtown Long Beach during the demo flight.
License Progress:
- Accumulate flight time during the demo, contributing to your helicopter license requirements.
- Post-flight, receive information from knowledgeable staff on pursuing future helicopter flight training.
Helicopter Control Fundamentals:
- Learn the basics of helicopter control, covering straight and level flight, climbs, descents, and turns.
- Opt for the R44 helicopter for a 4-seat experience, allowing family and friends to witness your progress during the introductory demo flight.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
