Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details and directions to ensure a smooth experience. If you’re without a vehicle, consider using the shuttle service for $20 per person, as cab and Uber rides can be costly and hard to find. This tour offers a perfect blend of adventure, history, and natural beauty in the heart of Louisiana's swamps.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2-3 hours (Tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour)
What’s included: Guided kayak and canoe swamp tour
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (up to 10 people).
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos, photos are encouraged.
Specific rules to follow: Need to follow the guide’s rules

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Parking: You may park your car at the Wild Louisiana Tours Launch Site.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes
What to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks/drinks, raincoat (if raining)
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms but bathroom breaks will be provided.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

Guide gratuity is not included. A 20% gratuity is considered baseline/standard in the tour guide industry.
It is a good idea to allot at least 1 hour between the end of the tour and your next scheduled engagement of the day. Tour beginning and ending times can fluctuate due to guests' paddling experience and traffic to and from the city. Fridays and Saturdays are particularly bad traffic days.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
