Join a beginner-friendly windsurfing lesson on Maui’s pristine waters and feel the exhilaration of harnessing the wind. Taught by skilled instructors, this 2.5-hour class focuses on core windsurfing skills such as balance, steering, and sail control. Perfect for newcomers or those looking to refresh their knowledge, the lesson takes place in ideal windsurfing conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. By the end of the session, you'll be confidently skimming the surface, mastering both the elements and your board.

Age: 9+
Health limitations: Not for pregnant women or those with serious medical conditions.
Physical limitations: Must be able to swim and maintain balance.
Experience level: All levels are welcome, no prior experience required.

Individuals with disabilities: This experience is not wheelchair accessible.
Dietary restrictions: Not relevant.
Languages: English is the primary language spoken by the instructors.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2.5 hours.
What’s included: All necessary windsurfing equipment and instruction.
Who will be present: You will have an instructor with you at all times, and other participants may join (up to 6 total people).
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged, feel free to bring your own camera.
Specific rules to follow: Follow the instructor’s safety guidelines at all times.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: This experience is dependent on wind conditions, and may be rescheduled if necessary.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Parking: Parking is available near the beach.
What to wear: Comfortable swimwear and sunscreen.
What to bring: Water bottle, towel, and change of clothes.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Changing areas and restrooms are available nearby.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
