Full description

Explore Tennessee’s natural beauty on a full-day tour that combines two iconic destinations: Cumberland Caverns and Fall Creek Falls. The trip starts with a guided exploration of Cumberland Caverns, Tennessee's largest show cave, featuring over 27 miles of underground passageways filled with stunning rock formations, including stalagmites and stalactites, and features like an underground waterfall and a “slot-canyon.” The adventure includes a hike through the cave, tackling 350 natural stone steps to reach the largest cave room, known for its dramatic lighting and antique chandelier.

After the cave, the tour heads to Fall Creek Falls State Park, where you can view the park’s namesake waterfall, which at 256 feet is the tallest free-falling waterfall east of the Mississippi, from a nearby vantage point that requires minimal hiking. The day concludes with a picnic-style lunch and some free time to explore the park’s gift shop, general store, and café. This tour offers a thorough introduction to the geological and natural wonders of the Cumberland Plateau, ideal for those looking for a moderate outdoor adventure.
