Starting from Liberty Landing Marina in New Jersey, just a quick ferry ride from Manhattan, this experience kicks off with a safety briefing and training session. Then, it's throttle-down as you glide past the towering World Trade Center and race up the East River, taking in sights like the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and the Wall Street Heliport.

• Age: Drivers must be 18 years or older. Riders must be at least 12 years old.
• Weight: 350 lbs. max
• Experience level: No prior jet ski experience is necessary. Jet skis are simple to operate, and certified guides provide a safety briefing before departure. The initial minutes are within a no-wake zone (5 mph speed limit) to help participants get comfortable.

• Children: Riders must be at least 12 years old. All participants, including children, must have a ticket.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 1 hour.
• What's included: Guided jet ski tour with certified guides.
  • *In colder months, there are complimentary dry suits, boots and gloves available for anyone that would like them.
• Who will be present: A licensed guide will lead the tour. Participants will operate their own jet skis within a group.
• Spectators: No spectators will be allowed.
• Photo/video: Pictures can be provided for an additional fee. Photography packages are available at a discounted cost before the tour date or at full price on day of the tour.
• Specific rules to follow: Participants must adhere to the safety briefing and follow the guide's instructions.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Tours may be canceled due to adverse weather or water conditions. If a tour is canceled, participants can reschedule or receive a full refund. Cancellations are typically notified at least three hours prior to the tour time.
• Arrival: Arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
• Parking: Parking is available on-site at Liberty Landing Marina.
• What to wear: Appropriate attire for water activities.
• What to bring:
  • Valid identification.
  • Personal items can be stored in individual bins provided and securely locked in the office.
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: The marina has facilities available for changing and restrooms.

Anything else to know before going on this experience?

• New York Harbor is clean and safe for jet skiing, being cleaner now than it has been in over 100 years.
• The best time of day for the tour varies:
  • Morning (8 am-Noon): Typically the calmest part of the day.
  • Afternoon (Noon-5 pm): Height of activity with other boats.
  • Late Afternoon (5 pm-8 pm): Calmer waters and diminishing boat traffic.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
