What to expect on the day of the experience?

• What’s included: Round-trip airfare from Oahu to Hilo, helicopter tour, guided ground tour of volcanic sites, and a to-go lunch.
• Who will be present: A knowledgeable guide will accompany you on the ground, and a professional pilot will guide the helicopter tour.
• Photo/video: Photography is encouraged, but flash photography and selfie sticks are prohibited on the helicopter. Wear dark colors for less reflection in photos.
• Specific rules to follow: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for walking on lava surfaces. Large or heavy bags are discouraged on the helicopter flight.

• What to wear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long sleeves or a jacket.
• What to bring: Camera, water, and sun protection. Due to safety and weight regulations, large or heavy bags are discouraged.
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Available at most stops, but carrying essentials with you is advised.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
