Tour Itinerary:

9:00 AM – Departure from San Diego: Start your day with a convenient pick-up at a location of your choice in San Diego.
10:30 AM – Scenic Stop at "El Mirador": Enjoy a short break at the stunning "El Mirador" viewpoint, where you can capture breathtaking photos of the bay.
12:00 PM – Arrival at Rancho Cava de Marcelo: Begin your adventure with a guided tour of the ranch, where you'll learn about the fascinating cheese-making process rooted in Swiss tradition.
1:00 PM – Cheese & Wine Tasting in the Cellar: Descend into the underground cellar for a private tasting of artisan cheeses, aged up to three years, perfectly paired with local wine.
2:00 PM – Gourmet Outdoor Lunch: Savor a delicious grill-cooked meal featuring beef, pork, fish, and organic vegetables, topped off with a serving of homemade gelato.
4:00 PM – Return Journey: Relax as you head back to San Diego, reflecting on a day filled with culinary delights and scenic beauty.
7:30 PM – Drop-off in San Diego: Arrive back at your designated location, concluding your unforgettable cheese tasting tour.

Considerations: Bring your own drinks if you like, but please, no large coolers. Complimentary bottled water will be provided. Valid passports are required for this tour. Wine tastings are reserved for guests 18 and older.

Any restrictions to participate?

Age: All age groups are welcome on the tour. Must be 18+ to participate in wine tasting.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
Dietary restrictions: The tour includes a grilled outdoor lunch with beef, pork, fish, and organic vegetables.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 11 Hours. The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
What’s included: The experience is all-inclusive, covering transportation, cheese and wine tasting, outdoor grilled lunch, and gelato. Complimentary bottles of drinking water will be provided for each passenger.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times. This is a private tour with a minimum of six participants required.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
Specific rules to follow: Valid passport is required. Each passenger is required to sign a waiver of release of liability before boarding the transport.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine.
Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled pick-up time of 9 AM.
Parking: Transportation is included.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.
What to bring:
- You may bring your own drinks, but no large ice coolers, please.
- Valid passport is essential.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms, but there will be bathroom breaks during the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

Each passenger is responsible for bringing the necessary immigration and travel documentation to enter Mexico and return to the United States.
An itinerary of the tour will be provided four days prior to the day of the tour, detailing the places to be visited and the meeting location for the driver.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
