  • Duration: This experience will last approximately 3 hours.
  • What’s included:
    • A 4-course meal customized to your tastes and preferences
    • All of the ingredients, supplies, and equipment to prepare the meal
    • Cleanup after the meal
    • Gratuity, tableware, glassware, and alcohol are NOT included
  • Who will be present: You will have a chef with you at all times and your private group only.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience at your home.
  • What to wear: Wear whatever you prefer!
  • Parking: Especially in major cities, if there's not ample parking available by your home and a fee is assessed, you will need to pay the chef directly.

  • The chefs are willing to travel within a 35 mile radius of the city center on average.

  1. Reservation Setup: Select your date, location, and time, then choose a chef from a diverse roster, each offering unique culinary styles and a la carte menus. Specify your preferences, dietary needs, and finalize the booking with the option to modify or cancel up to one week before the event.
  2. Chef Consultation: Within 48 hours of booking, the chef will reach out to confirm menu details and dietary accommodations, ensuring everything is customized to taste.
  3. Event Day: The chef arrives with all necessary ingredients and equipment, prepares the meal, and handles all aspects of service and cleanup. Engage with the chef, pick up some culinary tips, or simply relax and enjoy the experience.

Chefs are meticulously vetted, boasting credentials as Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, or similar roles, with many holding professionally validated and tested menu options. Whether it’s local flavors or international cuisine, chefs are adept at crafting meals tailored to any dietary requirement or party theme. With everything from cooking to cleanup taken care of, guests can focus on enjoying their event, assured of a spotless kitchen afterward. This Private Chef Experience not only simplifies hosting but also turns your dinner into a memorable, hassle-free event.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
