Any restrictions to participate?
- Age: 13+, however, an adult can work on one design with a child who is 7 years or above.
Who can you accommodate for?
- Children: This experience is recommended for participants 13+, however if children 7+ would like to participate with an adult they may do so. All participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Individuals with disabilities: The studio is wheelchair accessible.
- Pets: No pets please. Service dogs are allowed.
What to expect on the day of the experience?
- Duration: 1 hour or 2 hours, depending on the option selected.
- What’s included: Cut flowers, vases, floral cutters and step-by-step instructions on how to recognize the freshest flowers, how to care for them and how to create a beautiful flower arrangement.
- Who will be present: Your instructor and the members in your group.
- Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
- Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
How to prepare?
- Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
- Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
- Parking: There is free ample parking at the studio.
- What to wear: Dress warmly...this is a working flower studio so it can be chilly in the winter months.
- What to bring: Water bottles are welcome. No tools are needed. Sometimes people wear aprons or gloves they bring themselves (but this is not required). Experience provider will provide gloves (nitrile - not latex) when necessary.
- Restrooms: Restrooms are available.
Anything else I should know before going on this experience? Do not come to class if you are sick, please reschedule (even if it's less than 48 hours before the class).
