No fishing experience required, just show up ready to cast a line. This beginner friendly trip heads out onto the calm waters of Clear Lake with a licensed fishing guide and USCG certified captain handling everything from steering to baiting hooks, so anglers of any skill level can settle in and enjoy the ride.

Rods, reels, tackle, and bait are all included, along with a cooler stocked with ice, bottled water, and soft drinks. Guests age 17 and up will need a valid Texas fishing license (day passes run about $15 online) and everyone completes a quick waiver before departure. Whether or not the fish are biting, four hours on Clear Lake Bay bring sunshine, fresh air, and plenty of good memories.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 4 hours
• What's included: A licensed fishing guide and USCG certified captain, all rods, reels, and tackle including fluorocarbon leader and hooks, bait, and a cooler with ice, bottled water, and soft drinks.
• Who will be present: A captain will be present throughout the cruise, with up to 6 passengers total allowed aboard due to Coast Guard regulations
• Spectators: This is a private fishing trip, and all guests aboard must be included in the reservation
• Photo/video: You may take your own photos and videos throughout the cruise
• Specific rules to follow: All guests age 17 and older must carry a valid Texas fishing license (a day pass is available for $15 at tpwd.texas.gov), and all passengers must complete a waiver before departure.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience takes place outdoors and may be affected by weather conditions
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time
• Parking: Parking is available near the departure location in Clear Lake Shores
• What to wear: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a hat and sunglasses

• A catch is never guaranteed, but the guide and captain focus on making the time on the water fun no matter what's biting.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
