After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Recommended to be at least 10 years old to participate. 
  • Physical limitations: Must be able to hold a 2-3 pound axe over your head and throw it at the target.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: This is not an experience for young children. However, children under 18 years old who are mature and physically strong enough to participate may do so if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
  • Individuals with disabilities: The facility is wheelchair accessible and service animals are allowed. 
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 1 hour + 15 minutes for check in
  • What’s included:
    • Instruction and safety session with your Axe Master
    • Try different types of axes, distances, and techniques
    • Special axe throwing games
  • Who will be present: Your Axe Master and up to 35 total participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
  • Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!
  • Specific rules to follow: No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
  • Parking: There are only 5 parking spots available for participants and they get taken quickly. Please use street parking and other public parking as much as possible. Consider parking at Banner Bank parking lot on the weekends, street park on 165th Ave NE or use the 3 hour public parking lot next to the hair salon next door.
  • What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required. Don’t wear anything that might make you more vulnerable to an axe. That includes high heels or open-toe shoes, skirts or clothes with flappy parts that might get stuck somewhere and make you fall or drop the axe on yourself or someone else.
  • What to bring: 
    • An ID to check in and to purchase beer if at least 21 years old. 
    • Cash to tip your Axe Master if you have an outstanding experience. The recommended tip amount is around $5 per participant.
    • Snacks and a bottle of water. Cold beer and soft drinks are available for purchase.
  • Restrooms: There are restrooms on site.

Under the guidance of a trained Axe Master, you'll master the art of axe throwing, experiment with various types of axes, perfect different techniques, and even compete for a coveted spot on the Wall of Glory. Safety is paramount in this exciting adventure. Your Axe Master will provide essential instruction on how to safely handle an axe. Plus, they'll introduce you to exhilarating axe-throwing games to keep the excitement alive.

The dedicated staff will closely monitor your safety and guide you through the entire process. Only those who have successfully completed the safety course are allowed access to the throwing arena. Even if you're experienced, you'll still need to follow specific instructions from your Axe Master to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.

Not to worry if you're new to axe throwing; a seasoned Axe Master will be right by your side to instruct you on the safe and proper way to throw an axe. If you don't hit the bullseye on your first attempt, they're there to help you refine your technique and achieve axe-throwing perfection!

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.

We celebrated my buddy's birthday by trying our hand at throwing axes and ninja stars, and the hour just flew by! The attendant began with safety instructions and even demonstrated some throws. They stopped by from time to time to correct our techniques or introduce new items to throw. Personally, I had a blast throwing 3-4 little axes simultaneously; there's something incredibly satisfying about watching them all stick. And those ninja stars were a load of fun too. We booked our spot online about a week ago, and we're already planning our return to this cool place!

I must say, this experience was top-notch. I've been to three different axe throwing spots in the Seattle area, but this one took the cake. The attendant got us started within minutes, offering helpful tips when we needed them. Visiting at 3 PM on a Saturday, we had four lanes for our group of five, which was far more than we've had elsewhere. They've got a fantastic selection of throwing options, from axes to tomahawks and throwing stars, each providing its own unique entertainment. I can't recommend it enough!
