How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the tour will be running. The coach is fully air-conditioned. Muir Woods can be cool, shaded, and damp even on sunny San Francisco days.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour start. Check in with the guide at the meeting point before the tour begins.
• Parking: Paid parking garages are available near both departure locations. For Union Square, the Union Square Garage (333 Post St.) is nearby. For Fisherman's Wharf, parking is available along Beach Street and in nearby garages. Both locations are also accessible via MUNI and cable car.
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended for navigating Chinatown's streets.
• What to bring:

  • A water bottle for the Muir Woods walk

• Restrooms: Full-size Gray Line coaches are equipped with onboard restrooms. Restrooms are also available at Muir Woods National Monument and in Sausalito during the respective stops.

• Gratuities for the guide are not included in the ticket price but are appreciated.
• Muir Woods National Monument is operated by the National Park Service. Parking conditions at Muir Woods are subject to change based on NPS regulations — all tour operators are assigned a parking slot that can vary daily.
• Lunch in Sausalito is not included. Sausalito's waterfront has a wide selection of restaurants; planning ahead for a preferred dining spot during the 60-minute stop is recommended.
