• Experience level: Suitable for all levels, but participants should be able to swim.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Children under a certain age must be accompanied by an adult. Safety vests are available and recommended for younger participants.
• Individuals with disabilities: The activity may not be suitable for individuals with certain physical disabilities due to the nature of snorkeling and beach access.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed during the snorkeling activity.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2 Hours
• What’s included: Snorkel gear, including mask and fins, a dry bag, biodegradable defog solution for masks, life vest (if needed), and guidance on the best snorkeling spots.
• Who will be present: You will receive equipment and a briefing from our team; the snorkeling adventure is self-guided.
• Photo/ video: You are encouraged to bring your own waterproof camera or phone to capture your experience.
• Specific rules to follow: Follow all local guidelines for snorkeling safety, respect marine life, do not touch or step on coral reefs, and ensure all trash is packed out.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience is weather-dependent. Ideal conditions include clear skies and calm waters. Check weather forecasts and sea conditions before your visit.
• Arrival: Please arrive at the gear pickup location (134 Hamakua Dr. Unit B, Kailua, HI) 15 minutes before your intended start time to allow for equipment fitting and briefing.
• Parking: Available at the gear pickup location. From there, you will need to transport your gear to Sharks Cove.
• What to wear: Swimsuit, water shoes or sandals for rocky entries, and a rash guard for sun protection.
• What to bring:
  • Essential: Water, snacks, reef-safe sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
  • What’s allowed: Personal items that can fit in the provided dry bag.
  • What’s not allowed: Leave valuables at home to prevent loss or theft.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Be mindful of ocean conditions and marine life. The area is a protected environment, so interaction with wildlife should be passive and respectful to ensure their habitat remains undisturbed.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
