  • Age: Only adults 21 and older are allowed. A valid ID is required.
  • Physical limitations: The tour involves walking and stairs, so participants should be able to walk comfortably for two hours.

  • Children: This is not an experience for children.
  • Dietary restrictions: Participants with allergies or specific dietary needs should confirm any dietary restrictions at time of booking.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
  • What’s included:
    • A two-hour walking tour with multiple stops at restaurants and bars in Galveston’s Strand District.
    • Small plates of food paired with alcoholic beverages at each stop.
  • Who will be present: A tour guide will accompany you at all times. Other participants may also join the tour, as it is a group experience.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
  • Photo/ video: Personal photography is encouraged during the tour.
  • Specific rules to follow: Participants must have a valid 21+ ID for alcohol consumption. It is recommended to arrange for Uber or Lyft for transportation after the tour.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes in advance to meet the guide outside of the Peanut Butter Warehouse Marketplace at 102 B 20th St, Galveston, TX 77550.
  • Parking: Nearby parking options should be available.
  • What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • What to bring:
    • Valid 21+ ID for alcohol consumption.
    • Phones for taking photos.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at various stops along the tour.
