Step back in time on a 2.5-hour guided walking tour of downtown Denver, where you'll uncover the city’s rich whiskey history and wild west heritage. Starting at Denver's oldest Irish pub, you'll sample Irish whiskeys and learn about the local spirits that played a pivotal role in the city's founding. As you walk to the next stop, you'll hear fascinating tales of outlaws and pioneers who made Denver what it is today.

The tour continues with a visit to a modern saloon to explore American whiskey, bourbon, rye, and perhaps some Scotch. The journey concludes at a local distillery, where you'll tour the facility and sample their aged spirits. This tour offers a perfect blend of light-hearted history and a variety of whiskey tastings, making it an enjoyable and educational experience. What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2.5 hours; tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement
• What’s included: Whiskey samples at various stops, guided tour of Denver’s historical sites, tour of a local distillery with spirit samples
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; other guests may be joining (up to 12 people total)
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos; photos are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: Valid I.D. is required for entry into all establishments; no refunds at start time if you do not have your I.D. with you

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance
• Parking: Parking garage available across the street from Nallen’s Irish Pub; ridesharing or public transport is recommended
• What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes
• What to bring:

  • Dress appropriately for the weather (extra layer for cold days and something for rain)
  • Thirst for knowledge
  • Gratuities are graciously accepted
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms but we will stop for bathroom breaks

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
