Step into the realm of the supernatural with the Woodstock Haunted Ghost Walk. This spine-tingling journey takes you through the haunted history of Woodstock, where ghostly legends and chilling mysteries come to life.

Sample Itinerary

  • Woodstock Opera House: Start at Woodstock's supposed most haunted spot. Get the real story. What's the actual history of building? Who is Elvira? And why is she named after the ghost in a play called Blithe Spirit
  • The Old Courthouse: This historic building now hosts artists and houses a popular bar and restaurant. Discover who is haunting this local landmark and the grisly reason why. This elusive character plays ghostly pranks and has shown up in at least one photo.
  • Classic Cinemas Woodstock Theatre: Search the shadows of the Classic Cinemas Woodstock Theatre. A variety of ghostly figures are said to haunt these silver screens. Mysterious noises and startling apparitions keep employees talking.
  • Main Street PourHouse: Raise a glass to those who have passed at this present-day this bar and grill. Not so long ago undertakers named Slavin, Eastman, & Pierce conducted business in the building. Brushes with the supernatural continue to puzzle the staff of this historic mortuary turned tavern.
  • Liquid Blues: Meet Uncle Dan. A deceased, but still jolly hippy Santa Claus is the legend of the town watering hole called Liquid Blues. A practical joker, Dan still seems to be loving life from the great beyond.
  • Town Square Park: Made famous as the center of festivities in the classic comedy
  • Groundhog Day: The grounds were once the known for the medicinal waters of the underground spring that lies beneath. This popular meeting spot since ancient times serves as a charming backdrop for weird local tales.
  • Down2Earth: The resident spirit at this New Age shop may be helping to carry on an age-old family tradition. Nina's invisible protector has made its presence known more than once. Find out who is watching over the store long-past closing time.

  • Age: Recommended for 12+. If under 18 years old, participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: While tours do not contain anything too graphic or inappropriate, we find that kids that enjoy history have the best time. You know your children best and that's left up to you.
