Discover the stories surrounding the September 11, 2001 attacks on this emotional walking tour of Ground Zero. Accompanied by a local guide, pay tribute to the fallen heroes and gain a deeper understanding of the events that occurred on this fateful day. The tour starts at St. Paul's Chapel, where you'll learn about the role the building played in the aftermath of the attacks. From there, you'll head to the 9/11 Memorial and gather around the Memorial Pools, where your guide will share detailed information about the monument's design, as well as the architecture of the new World Trade Center.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2 hours (Tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour)

Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos, photos are encouraged

Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
What to wear: Good walking shoes
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, sunscreen
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms but bathroom breaks will be provided

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

It is advised to use the shuttle service if you do not have a vehicle, as cab and Uber rides can be expensive and difficult to find on your return trip. Shuttle service is available at $20 per person. More details will be available when making your reservation.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking.
