After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All ages are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Everyone over the age of 2 needs to purchase a ticket to enter the farm. Children 2 and under are Free
  • Pets: Please do not bring your pet to the farm

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 4 Hours
  • What’s included: During this interactive experience, you'll have the chance to work alongside our knowledgeable team and learn the ropes of farm work. From feeding the animals to collecting you'll get a taste of what it's like to be a rancher.
    • After your chores you can spend the day enjoying the farm and all of the other fun farm. You're welcome to stay as long as you like.
    • This is an example of some of the chores you may do. There may be additional activities as requirements change from day to day.
      • Start with Feeding and Cleaning the Chicken Coops
      • Refresh, Clean and Refill Water
      • Scoop Poop
      • Water the Plants in the garden
      • Next Feed the Goats and Feed the Pigs!
      • Refill Waters and Check Minerals
      • Visit Sweetie Pie, Ranger & Donkey’s
      • Feed Tully!
  • Who will be present: Other people will be at the farm as well.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
  • Specific rules to follow: Please be sure to listen to and follow all directions that we give. They are for your safety and the safety of our animals.
    • Everyone will need to sign-in and sign a waiver before their class or event starts.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This event is happening outside so it is subject to change if the weather is bad. The provider will keep you posted leading up.
  • Arrival: Please arrive at your scheduled time.
  • Parking: After you turn in the driveway the parking lot will be immediately to your right. Please pull up to the wooden fence so others may drive past you. There will be signs showing you where to go.
    • Please enter the walk through gate and follow the stone path to check in at the office!
  • What to wear: Please wear casual clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Please use the restroom before you arrive. This is a sustainable farm and the restroom is an upgraded outhouse!

The Animal Husbandry - the Morning Session offers a genuine farm work experience. Participants join the farm team early in the morning to start the day with essential chores, learning about and contributing to the daily operations of a working farm. The session includes a variety of tasks such as feeding animals, cleaning chicken coops, refreshing water supplies, gardening, and more, providing a comprehensive insight into the life of a farmer.

This hands-on experience is designed for anyone interested in understanding farm life, from routine tasks to the care of various farm animals like goats, pigs, and donkeys. It's an educational opportunity set against the backdrop of a functioning farm, where the work is real and the animals' needs come first. After completing the morning chores, participants are invited to spend the rest of the day on the farm, enjoying the serene environment and the company of the farm animals. This experience offers a slice of farm life and the satisfaction that comes with a morning of meaningful work outdoors.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
