Escape Game Storyline:

Winter is finally here. An extended school vacation is in full swing, and in the middle of this, you found yourself hauling half your things to your mom’s back in Austin. You’d never be alone, and your sister said she'd never go to yours.

Your mom's the strict type and has placed a hard curfew while you stay at home. "Paula, here's the rules plain and simple: No parties, no boys in the house and you're to be back in the house at 7 PM every evening. No exceptions."

On the train to Austin, something happened. You met someone. A guy you really liked. A guy that wanted to do something old-school and have a date with you in Zilker Park after dark.

The problem: You're about as curious as you are concerned. Not to mention: 'after dark' definitely means after curfew.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All age groups are welcome
• Physical limitations: Participants should plan on walking for approximately 2-2.5 miles during the game.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Phones are required to play the game, so young children will need to share a device with another active player.
• Individuals with disabilities: This is a self-guided game, so you can choose the best route from destination to destination to accommodate wheelchairs. Service animals are welcome.
• Languages: Once you download the game you can change the language in the starting point screen.
• Pets: You are welcome to bring your pet.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 30-60 minutes. The duration of the game varies per group as it is self-paced. The time listed is an average time of completion. You can start and stop the game as many times as you wish. 
• What’s included: 
  • Downloadable exploration game on your chosen device 
  • Visit 10 places during the game
• Who will be present: This is a self-guided game for your group size. It is recommended to have 1 or 2 people per device. 
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This is an outdoor experience, but can be played at any time. Once you’ve downloaded the game you can enjoy it forever (unless there are time limitations explicitly mentioned in the game description).
• What to wear: Comfortable shoes for walking and clothing appropriate for weather conditions. 
• What to bring:
  • Your device with the downloaded game. You will need the internet to initially download the game, but once it is downloaded you will no longer need internet access. It is recommended that your phone or device have at least 50% battery life. 
  • It is also recommended to bring a bottle of water as you will be walking for approximately 2-2.5 miles throughout the tour.
• Restrooms: You may stop for restroom breaks at your convenience.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
