Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All age groups are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: While events are children-friendly, parents are asked only to bring children if they don't disrupt the class. Children under 4 are free of charge. However, the location is an industrial kitchen and there is no area to entertain the children.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.
  • Individuals with disabilities: The building where the cooking class takes place is wheelchair accessible and service animals are allowed. 
  • Dietary restrictions: Please make note of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • What’s included: 
    • Cooking class and dinner
    • An engaging group activity at each class. While not everyone receives a bowl and spoon, inclusivity is our priority, ensuring that no one feels left out.
  • Who will be present: Your professional chef and 10-34 participants. 
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
  • Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged.
  • Specific rules to follow: Outside beverages are not permitted.

 

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This experience takes place indoors in a commercial kitchen.
  • Arrival: Plan on arriving promptly at the scheduled class time. There is a reception for 15 minutes at the start of the event to allow everyone to gather, which allows for a small buffer in case you're running late. If you are 25 minutes late, your ticket is forfeited, and you will not be let in.
  • Parking: There is parking across the street in a garage or down the road in another garage. There is street meter parking as well.
  • What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing you can cook in.
  • What to bring: Identification and a desire to learn!
  • Gratuity: Gratuity for your instructor is included in the price of the class.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available onsite.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days prior to your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, please contact the Giftory support team. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the full value of your experience.

Fun. Interesting. Our chef John was great…making the class lively and informative. We enjoyed eating our pizzas, as well as capreses salad, fettuccini and ravioli. We highly recommend the class.
