Step into an authentic Argentine kitchen for an evening of empanada-making. This hands-on class is guided by Chef Lui, a Culinary Institute of Argentina graduate, who’ll show you how to create these beloved flaky pastries from scratch. You’ll learn to prepare the dough and fill it with two classic Argentine-style fillings: a flavorful blend of ground beef and veggies, and a rich onion and cheese mixture. Chef Lui will walk you through the folding and sealing techniques that give empanadas their signature look before baking them to golden perfection.

Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just looking to try something new, this class is designed to be fun and approachable. All ingredients and equipment are provided, so just bring your enthusiasm. At the end of the session, enjoy the best part—sitting down with your freshly baked empanadas and sharing a laugh or two with your classmates. You'll leave with new skills, a handful of authentic recipes, and a craving to make empanadas at home.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: This class is approximately 2 hours long.
• What’s included: All instruction, equipment and ingredients needed.
• Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (from 8 to 26 people).
• Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
• Photo/ video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

• Parking: You can park at the experience location.
• What to wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please dress in clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
• What to bring: Guests are invited to BYOB (beer or wine only)
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are restrooms at the experience location.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 15 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience. Rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance is subject to a $20 per person rescheduling fee. A minimum of 8 participants is required for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, the provider reserves the right to cancel the class and will make every effort to reschedule customers.
