There's something special about a dinner for two that nobody else gets to share. A private chef in Santa Barbara plans and cooks a 3-course meal around your favorite flavors, then serves each course at your own table. Choose an entrée plus 2 courses from soup, salad, appetizer, and dessert, whether you lean toward Central Coast produce or something completely new.

Here's how it works:

1. Book the Night: Select a date for your private dinner and set the scene in your home.
2. Pick a Menu: Look through the Santa Barbara chefs' menus and choose the dishes you're most excited to try.
3. Chef Check-In: Within 48 hours, your chef reaches out to confirm the menu and any allergies or preferences.
4. Dinner Service: On the day, your chef arrives with all the ingredients and equipment, then prepares and serves each course in your home.
5. All Taken Care Of: Your chef leaves the kitchen spotless, giving you the rest of the night to yourselves.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: Must be 8 years old or older to participate in this experience.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: This is not an experience for children under the age of 8 years old.
• Dietary restrictions: All chefs can adapt to your preferences as the menu is 100% customizable.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: This experience will last approximately 3 hours.
• What's included:
  • A 3-course meal customized to your tastes and preferences
  • All of the ingredients, supplies, and equipment to prepare the meal
  • Cleanup after the meal
  • Gratuity, tableware, glassware, and alcohol are NOT included
• Who will be present: The chef and your party only.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience at your home.
• What to wear: Wear whatever you prefer!
• Parking: If there is not ample parking available near your home and a fee is assessed, the customer will need to pay the chef directly.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• The chefs are willing to travel within a 35 mile radius of the city center on average, but may be able to travel further. Please inquire as needed.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for any other experience in our marketplace, free of charge, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
