• Physical limitations: Participants should be comfortable walking approximately 2 miles over paved paths and moderate hills while standing for extended periods

• Individuals with disabilities: Much of the tour route is wheelchair accessible and service animals are allowed

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes
• What's included: A guided walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery featuring major memorials and historic gravesites including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the John F Kennedy Gravesite
• Who will be present: A professional guide will accompany the group throughout the experience along with other guests
• Photo/video: Personal photos are encouraged except where restricted during ceremonial events
• Specific rules to follow: Remain respectful at all times follow cemetery regulations and stay with the guide throughout the tour

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The tour operates rain or shine
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure
• Parking: Public parking is available at the Arlington National Cemetery Visitor Center and public transportation or rideshare is also recommended
• What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing
• What to bring:

  • A refillable water bottle
  • Phones and cameras are permitted
  • A government issued photo ID may be required depending on the method of entry to the cemetery
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available near the Visitor Center and at select locations throughout the cemetery
