While hauling in a Dungeness isn't guaranteed (this is fishing, after all), you'll walk away with solid skills and a newfound appreciation for the technique, patience, and rhythm of the sport.

  What to expect on the day of the experience?
• Duration: 3 hours
• What’s included: Instruction and use of all fishing equipment, including 1 rod and reel per person, 1 snare per guest, bait, crab net, weights, crab measuring gauge, mono line, and snap swivel
• Who will be present: A knowledgeable instructor will lead the experience; up to 10 participants may be in the group
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a reservation
• Photo/video: Guests are encouraged to take personal photos
• Specific rules to follow: Participants must follow all instructions from the guide and adhere to local crabbing regulations
  How to prepare?
• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
• Parking: Public parking is available near most pier locations; details will be provided after booking
• What to wear: Closed-toe shoes and layered outdoor clothing are recommended
• What to bring:
• Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate gear
• Phones and personal cameras are welcome
• Outside fishing gear or bait is not necessary or permitted
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Restrooms are typically available nearby; no lockers or changing rooms provided

• This is a skill-focused fishing experience. While catching crab is possible, it is not guaranteed

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 15 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 1 week before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 1 week in advance means losing the value of your experience.
