What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 6.5 hours
  • City tour pickup between 9am and 9:30am, finishes at 1:30pm at Pier 39
  • Bay Cruise departs 2pm and returns at 3:30pm
  • The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
• What’s included:
  • Guided city tour with multiple stops at landmarks
  • Transportation from pick-up to Pier 39
  • 90-minute Bay Voyager boat tour with marine waterproof gear provided
  • Hotel or other accommodation pickup within San Francisco
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you throughout the city tour; the group size is small, typically no more than 12 participants. The boat tour will be led by a captain, with up to 12 passengers.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/ video: You are encouraged to take your own photos throughout the experience.
• Specific rules to follow: Participants need to follow the guide’s and captain's instructions at all times.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to be ready for pick-up between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM, depending on the location.
• Parking: Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or rideshare to get back to your accommodation after the tour.
• What to wear: Dress in layers, as San Francisco weather can be variable. Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing.
• What to bring:
  • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and lip balm.
  • Preferred motion sickness remedy if needed.
  • Space for personal belongings is limited, so pack light.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms or lockers, but bathroom breaks will be available during the city tour.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
