What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2.5 Hours on the water
• What’s included: Blankets, towels, and life jackets provided
• Who will be present: You will have an experienced naturalist/licensed captain with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (minimum of 3 guests required, maximum of up to 10 people).
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos; photos are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: Not allowed to smoke, need to follow the guide’s rules.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance. Please be sure to arrive on time. Missed departures are non-refundable. If arriving late, contact (562) 472-9514 as soon as possible to see what options might be available.
• Parking:
  • Main parking is available at a large garage at 99 Aquarium Way next to the Aquarium of The Pacific.
  • Closest parking is the lot behind the Pierpoint Landing building at 200 Aquarium Way. This is 2-hour parking but you can add time using the Passport Parking App. Remember your space number and pay at the kiosk.
• What to wear: Clothing layers are highly recommended to stay comfortable as the temperature drops significantly once on the ocean.
• What to bring:
  • Any food or beverage items
  • Sunscreen
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms, restrooms available on land before departure

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• This is an open style trip and requires a minimum of 3 guests. If the minimum is not met, booked guests will receive a refund or an option to change their booking.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
