This setting provides a unique opportunity to observe a diverse range of marine life up close. During the 2.5 to 3-hour tours, you might see gray whale migrations, blue and humpback whales, dolphins, porpoises, and other marine animals. Each journey is a chance to experience Monterey Bay's marine life in its natural habitat, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

• What to wear: Dress in warm layers, wear long pants, and a windproof jacket. Bring a wide-brimmed hat or cap, and flat-soled shoes.
