Your taste buds will be tantalized at five different local eateries, where you'll sample a variety of dishes, including the iconic Sonoran hot dog, a creative empanada fusion, and an irresistible secret dish. To complement the flavors, you'll also savor a glass of artisanal hand-crafted tea.

As you move between culinary stops, you'll get to immerse yourself in the heart of Downtown Tucson, where food meets culture. Experience the authenticity of a Mexican marketplace, enjoy a ride on a modern streetcar, and much more, making for a truly memorable exploration.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All age groups are welcome
  • Health limitations:There will be around 45 mins of walking but it is not too difficult and is broken up between food stops. Total distance walking is about one mile. The guide walks at the pace of the tour members, you will never be rushed.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children are welcome and those under the age of 2 are free. Strollers are welcome. 
  • Individuals with disabilities: This experience is wheelchair accessible.
  • Dietary restrictions: Due to the nature of creating a well balanced and thoughtful gastronomy experience, this tour is unable to accommodate certain dietary restrictions.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 3 hours. However, the tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour/experience.
  • What’s included: Admission to the tour and food at 5 stops. 
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times as well as up to 12 total participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos, photos are encouraged!

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You may park your car/ bike/ truck at the meeting spot
  • What to wear: Good walking shoes
  • What to bring: Cash to tip your guide! 
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There will be bathroom breaks at a few stops along the tour.

 

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
