Gatorland has been slinging Florida gator charm since 1949, and a single day admission ticket is your pass to wander this iconic park at your own pace. Catch a live wildlife show, stroll boardwalks over breeding marshes, and get about as close to an alligator as most people would ever want to get. Parking is free, so all that's needed is a little curiosity.

Feeling brave? The Screamin' Gator Zip Line add-on turns the visit into a full adventure, sending riders soaring over the swamp, across a swinging bridge, and past treetop views of the park below. It is the kind of rush that turns first-time nerves into a story worth telling, with a guide along for every step of the way.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All age groups are welcome for general park admission. There is no minimum age for the zip line, but children 8 and under must ride with a participating adult.
• Weight: Zip line riders must weigh 275 lbs or less.
• Height: Zip line riders must be at least 37 inches tall.
• Health limitations: Pregnant guests are not permitted on the zip line.
• Physical limitations: The zip line add-on includes a swinging bridge crossing that requires the ability to balance, grasp, and grip.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included. Children 8 and under can only ride the zip line add-on with a participating adult.
• Individuals with disabilities: Gatorland is wheelchair accessible throughout, and wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs are available to rent on site (first come, first served). The Screamin' Gator Zip Line add-on is not wheelchair accessible.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed. Only ADA service animals are permitted, and they must stay leashed or harnessed at all times.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration:
  • General admission includes a full day of park access.
  • Guests who purchase the zip line add-on should plan for an additional 1 to 2 hours, including the safety briefing.
• What's included: General admission covers park entry, wildlife shows, and exhibits. The zip line add-on includes a helmet, harness, safety orientation, and a guide-led ride across five lines.
• Who will be present: A trained guide leads the zip line experience at all times, alongside other guests in the same group.
• Photo/video: Personal photography is welcomed throughout the park. Cameras, phones, and GoPros are not allowed on the zip line for safety. Commercial filming or photography requires advance authorization from Gatorland's Public Relations department, and drones are prohibited.
• Specific rules to follow: Guests must follow their guide's instructions at all times during the zip line adventure.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The park operates rain or shine. Zip line weather cancellations are rebooked with a rain check valid for one year.
• Arrival: Zip line riders should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled ride time.
• Parking: Ample free parking is available.
• What to wear: Closed-toed shoes are required for the zip line, and skirts, dresses, and short shorts are discouraged for safety. General park attire should include a shirt, pants or shorts, and shoes.
• What to bring:
  • Bags and strollers go through security screening at entry; large luggage must be checked or left in vehicles
  • Outside food, coolers, and picnic baskets are not permitted in the park
  • Personal cameras, phones, and GoPros are not allowed on the zip line for safety
  • Secure lockers are available to store belongings during the zip line experience
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Restrooms are available at location. Secure lockers are available for the zip line experience.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
