Experience a unique outdoor adventure with a guided paddleboarding and kayaking tour that goes beyond the ordinary. Your guide often sets the mood with music from a Bluetooth speaker or lets you play your own tunes, and to elevate your experience, complimentary sparkling wine is served right on the water by your entertaining guide(s).

Launch from The Lake Ivanhoe Boat Ramp in downtown Orlando and paddle through the scenic Lake Ivanhoe, a beautiful, spring-fed waterway offering views of the City Beautiful. This beginner-friendly tour includes a lesson before setting out and starts and ends at the same location. By the journey's end, you'll have acquired a new skill in stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) to carry with you on future excursions, with safety and paddle techniques taught throughout.

  • Clear single kayak: cannot exceed 350 pounds
  • Clear paddle board: cannot exceed 200 pounds
  • Clear tandem kayak: combined weight cannot exceed 350 pounds and individual weight cannot exceed 175 pounds.
  • Adult paddle board (not clear): cannot exceed 250 pounds
  • Tandem kayak (not clear): combined weight cannot exceed 500 pounds
• Experience level: All levels are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: This is not an experience for children. 
• Individuals with disabilities: The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed.
• Pets: Yes, this is a pet friendly paddle!

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2 hours with at least 1.5 hours on the water
• What’s included: 
  • Paddleboard or kayak, and all safety gear
  • Dry bag for keys and phone
  • Local guide & lesson
  • Sparkling wine toast on the water
  • Bottled water
• Who will be present: Your tour guide and up to 20 total participants.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged! 
• Specific rules to follow: Your guide will provide you with all rules the day of the tour.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This tour is weather dependent. Please reach out to the experience provider directly if you have any concerns about the weather.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 30 minutes in advance.
• Parking: There is parking available at the experience providers office, about a block away from the meeting location, as well as street parking. There is also public transportation nearby. 
• What to wear: A bathing suit or workout attire.
• What to bring:
  • A valid ID to prove you are at least 21 years of age
  • Drink of choice (please drink responsibly)
  • A towel and change of clothing for after the tour
  • Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour. $10-$20 per person is suggested.
• Restrooms: It is recommended to use the restroom before you arrive.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Swimming is not needed for kayaking or paddleboarding. To stay safe, wear a personal floatation device at all times. If participants are not comfortable on the water or cannot swim, please let your guide know prior to the start of the tour.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
