What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 1.5 hours. You may enjoy the museum at your own pace. It usually takes about 1-2 hours to explore the exhibit.

  • Two free photo booth memory moments, so that you can download and take your journey home with you.
  • Interactive stations to test your pirate abilities and a spot to touch real silver pieces of eight discovered at the Whydah wreck site.
  • Exploration of the Discovery Lab to learn about the archaeological preservation process of centuries-old artifacts pulled from the depths.
• Who will be present: The members of your group as well as other museum patrons.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos while exploring the museum, however you cannot take photos of the treasure items.
• Specific rules to follow: No photos of the treasure displays or outside food and drinks.

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at your convenience.
• Parking: Parking is available at the museum.
• What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing. 
• What to bring: No outside food or drinks are allowed, however the museum offers packaged drinks and snacks for purchase.
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the museum.
