Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All ages are welcome.
  • Health limitations: Not recommended for pregnant women due to the potential for a bumpy landing.
  • Physical limitations: Must be able to stand for the duration of the flight (approximately 1 hour).

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Not recommended for children under 6 years old, although all ages are welcome. All participants must pay to participate.
  • Dietary restrictions: Champagne and light snacks are provided; dietary preferences should be communicated in advance.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed for safety and regulatory reasons.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours, with around 1 hour of flight time.
  • What’s included:
    • A scenic hot air balloon ride over San Marcos.
    • Experienced pilot with over 20 years of ballooning experience.
    • Champagne toast and light snacks.

  • Who will be present: Pilot Art and his crew, along with the passengers booked for the ride.
  • Spectators: Spectators can watch the take-off and landing but cannot join the ride unless booked.
  • Photo/video: Guests are encouraged to bring cameras and can take photos throughout the flight.
  • Specific rules to follow: Smoking is prohibited during the experience.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience is highly dependent on weather conditions and may be rescheduled in case of unsuitable weather.
  • Arrival: Guests are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to ensure timely check-in and pre-flight briefing.
  • Parking: Parking details will be provided, usually close to the launch site.
  • What to wear: Dress in layers as temperatures can be cooler at higher altitudes; closed-toed shoes are recommended.
  • What to bring:
    • Sunglasses and a hat for sun protection.
    • A camera or smartphone for photos.
    • A light jacket as it can be cooler in the air than on the ground.
